Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS)

Stimulation therapy that is clinically proven to reduce chronic pain.
Suffer from chronic pain? Has this pain drastically limited the activities you can enjoy in life? Are you constantly reaching for pain medication?

Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) can help.

How’s It Work?

Nerves send pain signals through the spinal cord to the brain. While pain feels instant, you don’t feel any until the brain receives a message telling it to feel pain.

SCS is designed to mask those messages and provide long-lasting pain relief.

Similar to a pacemaker, SCS implants a small device called a stimulator beneath the skin. Insulated wires called leads connect to the stimulator and send mild electrical pulses into the spinal cord to mask pain signals. These electrical pulses target the area of chronic pain, but can be adjusted if the pain moves.

SCS is available through a trial system that includes an external stimulator you wear on a belt around your waist.

Studies show SCS has helped patients reduce the use of pain medication and reduce their chronic pain from 9/10 to 2.9/10.
