Causes & Symptoms

Joint pain can be caused by injury, overuse, infection, arthritis, tendon or ligament injury. Pain presents with aching and stiffness, often worse in the morning, accompanied by swelling.

Initial Treatment

Ice or heat, gentle stretching, over-the-counter medication such as anti-inflammatories.

Further Treatment

Injections of corticosteroids, hyaluronic acid, radiofrequency ablation of the innervation to the joints, peripheral nerve stimulation of the innervation to the joints, regenerative medications including PRP therapy, Iovera cryotherapy injections, spinal cord stimulation, or DRG stimulation implantation.
